Cory is the author of The Butterfield Inn.
He was born in southern Wisconsin and has lived in North Dakota, South Carolina, and Minnesota. Growing up he had an eclectic interest in history, trains, computers, and anything with a circuit he could tear apart.
His early literary influences were equally diverse. From the horror of Stephen King to the westerns of Louis L'Amour with his stories of rugged individuals standing up for what was right and protecting the down-trodden or oppressed.
Although a software architect by training, he never strayed far from words and writing.
Cory lives in Minneapolis with his wife, twin children, and a couch potato that bears a striking resemblence to a beagle.
